Ginger and Lemon (great with brown sugar)
You may use salt instead of sugar, just make sure it is a fine salt. I like using the Fractionated Coconut oil as it is not greasy and does not stain clothes.

Salt Bath Soak
What you will need
Epsom Salt (grocery store)
Fine Sea Salt (I get mine from San Francisco Salt Co.)
Gift Bags or Zip locks and have kids decorate (Craft Store/grocery store)
Ribbon (Craft Store)
Essential Oils (www.kollettechambers.com)

The Recipe
1/2 Cup Epsom Salt
1/2 Sea Salt
1 Tablespoon Fractionated Coconut Oil
4 -8 drops of Essential Oils

note: You can mix a bag of Epsom Salt with Sea Salt ahead of time. Just make sure you use equal amount of each.

Mix the salts together, then add the Fractionated Coconut oil and then the Essential Oils. Hold bag closed, shake it all together. Put a cute ribbon around it and it is ready for gift giving.

The Salt Soak is a great holiday party idea for everyone to make and take home. It is a great gift for anyone.

More Essential Oil Combinations and ideas are Wild Orange and Lavender, Peppermint and Rosemary,  Roman Chamomile and Lavender, any oils with Lavender. You can use what every you'd like and these are a lot of fun to make. Enjoy!

I enjoyed sharing the salt soak in my sons first grade class for a project I had to bring into the class and do with the kids. The kids had a blast making them and they got to go home and give mom a gift or keep for themselves.

Have a Fun and Enjoyable Holiday!

SAVORY SANTA FE STYLE CRANBERRY DRESSING

This is one of my favorite recipes for the Holidays. We now enjoy it every year. It is great on Turkey, Ham, Cream Cheese, Cheese cake, and more. I had to share because I am so thankful that Linda shared this with me a few years ago. Enjoy!

Savory Santa Fe Style Cranberry Dressing
1 package Cranberries un-cooked, minced (mind you do not chop them too fine or they will become juicy).

3-5 Finely Chopped Green Onions
Fresh Jalapeno (to taste) Finely Chopped
1 tsp. Cumin

1 C. Sugar
Cilantro (Fresh Hand Full) San Stems or 1 toothpick Cilantro Essential Oil

Mix Ingredients and allow to set before serving. I love this with Roasted Turkey and
all the Trimmings and Ham too!

It is also wonderful on Sandwiches with Cream Cheese following the main dinner. Or for an appitizer poured over a block of cream cheese, served with crackers.

Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving!

Last night I hosted a Holiday  Relief with Essential Oils class. We had such a great time. I really enjoyed meeting new people and sharing the oils with them. I showed them all a simple hand massage with the Essential oils, some gift ideas and more. We passed around the oils for Stress Relief and Shifting moods. It was a wonderful evening of sharing.

The Power of Aroma
The holidays can be a stressful time. Being around family can be overwhelming, when it should be full of joy and love. With today's stresses in life we sometimes forget to be loving and remember the important things in life. By Diffusing Essential oils you can lift peoples moods, relax the mind and body, relieve tension and clear the mind, improve concentration, alertness and mental clarity. This way everyone can enjoy the Holidays and find Peace and Joy!

Suggested oils for diffusing during the holidays
Single Oils: Lavender, Frankincense, Myrrh, Sandalwood, White Fir, Roman Chamomile, Wild Orange and Peppermint.
