How to Improve the Quality of Sleep Naturally

So how can you improve the quality of sleep naturally without turning to prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications?

Here are some tips to help you sleep better. First keep a Journal by your bed of when you go to sleep and wake up. Go to bed at the same time every night. Eat a Banana an hour before going to bed. If your mind is racing, then write it down, get it off your chest. Take a few deep breathes, let go of the day. It is over, get some rest for tomorrow. Get in to a routine. Do you need an alarm clock or do you wake up the same time every morning? How do you wake up, it it a loud obnoxious noise or soothing music?

Make sure your alarm clock is not a loud noise, that is no way to wake up. If you stick to a routine, you should not need the Alarm clock.

Here are some tips on how to use essential oils for better sleep:

•  Add a few drops of  lavender in a spray bottle, mix with water, shake well, and spritz on pillows and bed  linens.

• Gently massage the bottom of feet, back of neck or spine with a few drops of lavender  before going to bed.

• Diffuse lavender  in your room a few minutes before retiring for bed.

Add a few drops of lavender  to warm bath water and soak in the tub for a relaxing treat before bed.

•  Add 5-10 drops to 1 tbs. Fractionated coconut oil and massage on back, arms, legs and feet.

Other oils recommended, Wild Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, Vetiver, Frankincense.

  1. Lavender is very useful in treating sleeping problems. I have heard that drinking a glass of Goji Berry Juice improves the overall quality of sleep if taken regularly for at least 2 months. Thank you for the information.
