1. Take Quality Supplements
Because of the lack in nutrients in the average diet, it is important to give your body what it needs and to take a daily supplement. (Contact me if you need recommendations or would like to know what we use in our family)2. Work Out
Try something new with your workout, how about midday? I know right it is hard for me but it may work for you. Studies suggest that working out mid-day can increase your productivity, which would make your time away from office worth it! I know swimming works for me, it is relaxing and calms emotions. It helps me both mentally and physically.3. Go Outside
Simply going outside and having sun exposure will help keep your vitamin D Levels up. Also by breathing in fresh air for 10-20 minutes a day can change both your energy levels and mood.
4. Hydration is Key
Stay Hydrated, it is important to keep water in your system. Stay away from sugary drinks that can actually dehydrate you more. I know that drinking water can be boring, so add a few drops of Lemon, Wild Orange, Cassia, Peppermint, Spearmint, Bergamot and grapefruit.5. Breathe and Stretch
Deep breathing from the diaphragm can help get the blood flowing and stretching helps re-energize your mind and muscles to fight off any anxiety that may be creeping in. If you don't stretch, try touching your toes everyday, at least do that. It is important to stretch, so make sure you are stretching your body. Try Eucalyptus, peppermint, birch, marjoram for occasional sore muscles. There are some great breathing meditations online, I love the Vortex with Ester and Jerry Hicks, 15 minutes of deep breathing. Any breathing meditation. Breath means spirit in Latin, so breathe!
6. Eat More Frequently
I don't know about you, but If I don't eat 5 small meals a day, I am not much fun to be around. Have you paid attention on how food effects your mood? Pay attention, write it in a journal, have your kids pay attention on how things like sugar and soda effect them. Food is most important to fuel our body. When we start to get hungry, are moods and level of activity can quickly decline. If you are suffering from hunger pains, irritability, tiredness, try eating healthier smaller meals more often.
