It is a time for Holiday Joy and Peace, time to forgive, love, give and receive. I love the holidays as we come to the end of the year, reviewing all the lessons learned, the new friendships and relationships, how much our children have grown and all the wonderful people and gifts that have happened throughout the year. It is also a time to let go and release what no longer serves us and prepare for the new year. Without the holiday season, would any of that get done? What would it look like without the holiday's? I know I would be sad and lost.
The holiday season is a time to clear our hearts, emotional clutter, and remember our spirituality. A time to reconnect with ourselves. Did you know that 90% of the body's serotonin and other feel good chemicals are produced in the gut? Happy gut, heart and mind equals connection and wellness. My intention this holiday season is for people to feel good and enjoy this special time. In today's world, it has become a stressful time of year for so many people, when it is supposed to be the most joyful time of the year. I encourage you all to set your own intention to have a joyous holiday season. You deserve to feel good. Watch what you eat, it can effect your mood. Limit the sweets and treats, ask yourself, how does this serve me? If you do indulge, pay attention to how food makes you feel and watch how it affects your loved ones as well. Eat as healthy as possible and enjoy treats in moderation. We all fall into past belief patterns. I love this formula and have to share E+R=O you have an Event, how you React determines your Outcome. Don't let those past beliefs that are not true surface.
There are many tools that can help support you through this time and anytime of the year when you are not feeling well. Essential oils, meditation and exercise are key and just a few of the tools. Find what works best for your and when your gut is feeling good, it can help you follow your intuition, so that you feel good this holiday season.

Exercise & Meditation
There is nothing better to clear your mind than exercise. Get up and move, get outside and get some fresh air. At least go for a 10 minute walk. Find some kind of exercise that you love. Find a friend to go with. Enjoy and make it fun. So many people buy a gym membership and never go, if this sound familiar, find a friend to go with and know you are not alone. I love to swim 3-4 times a week. I have days I go alone, one with my husband, one with a friend, and a lady's swim class. I also love to hike and walk. I usually hike with the family and I have some lady friends I walk with weekly. Every Saturday I have a date with my neighbor and we get up when the sun is rising and go for a hike. The Encouraging blend from doTERRA is a wonderful tool to help you get up and get moving. Exercise can do wonders for your emotions and your body. If you are feeling down this holiday season or anytime of the year, get up and get moving.
Meditating is another wonderful tool to add to your daily routine. I learned from a wonderful Gratitude series I did about the first 10 minutes of the day, it your sacred 10. Take 10 minutes to yourself, meditate, do yoga, stretch, just sit and enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea. Be still and quiet, no electronics, just 10 minutes a day to yourself. I have also read a book The Miracle Morning and it suggests an hour. Whatever you need, you deserve it. I get up extra early in the morning to have time to myself, meditate and get ready for the day. I feel so amazing and happy to do what I need to do, I feel good and then the rest of the day follows. I use Frankincense and Sandalwood to meditate. Those are my favorites.
My intention is that everyone enjoys this holiday season and remember to have peace and joy! Get your to do list done as soon as possible. Enjoy the holiday, you deserve it and remember everyone else does too, make it memorable. Everyone has their hardships and things going on in their lives, someone always has it worse than you do. Be kind. I love this quote.
We just went to the movie's and saw Wonder, it was wonderful and a good reminder for everyone to be kind. Thank you for letting me share and please enjoy the holiday season.
