Simple Self Care

We have been home since March 18, 2020. It has been a mix of so many emotions, relaxing, too relaxing, then oh no need to get motivated, so much to do but don’t feel like doing anything. I would say it has been a Roller Coaster of emotions.

I am so grateful for all the things I am going to share with you this week, positive affirmation, gemstone, essential oils, Fairy Card Reading, Tibetan Bowls meditation. There is so much to be grateful for.

We all need support and selfcare. It is important during this time to take care of yourself, meditate more or start if you have never. Go inward. When things are not going right, work on self, take care of self and now you have the time. It is important now more than ever to take care of yourself. Meditate, drink water, exercise if you can (there are tons of online and live classes going on).

This week we will celebrate my daughter’s birthday, she had a tough time last week and was upset because she wasn’t going to be with her friends on her birthday. Well it is time for me to get creative and motivated. We have been busy at home, we are in a good routine, we have been lazy, especially during Spring Break. This week we are back to online school and new routine. The weather hasn’t helped much either. It has been cold, cloudy, and windy.

Listening to many friends and family over the past week; some are doing great and others are having a rough time. Needless to say emotions are all over the place. Too much to do and either don’t have the motivation or distracted by the tv or the boredom, you have baked all you feel like and it is just hard to get motivated. Some can get out and garden, others are stuck at home inside by themselves. Reach out to others if you can and if you need help, please reach out and ask as hard as it is, there is no reason to be suffering.

Things you can do for simple self care

Eat right
Drink water
Exercise (tons of options online)
Take a Bath with Essential Oil of choice

Meditate, Meditate, Meditate

I hope this week’s Weekly Essential will support you with whatever your needs are and maybe you can spread some support to someone who has it worse than you. It will fill your bucket and theirs. Use the affirmation, essential oil, gemstone and meditation. Read the card reading and listen and learn, nurture yourself and enjoy your week.

Affirmation:
Focus on finding clarity and peace, trust.

As I clear and still my mind it becomes a clear channel for
receiving guidance and clarity on all situations.

Gem Stone: Clear Quartz (The Master Healer)
Color: Clear
Chakra:
Crown, but good for all

Clear quartz is all about clear thinking.

It's a powerful healing gemstone used for centuries to enhance the energy of other crystals. But in its own right, clear quartz is wonderfully harmonizing and can keep the mind balanced, focused and less distracted.
If you need focused attention on a project, want to decrease mental chatter, or sharpen your intellect to absorb and retain information more effectively, clear quartz is the crystal to use.

Clear Quartz is energizing and works on all areas of the mind and body, awakening, amplifying and transmitting energy and clarifying thought processes. It is an excellent stone for meditation, directing energies with more intensity. It connects to the higher self, removes negativity and allows access to your spirit guides. Clear Quartz provides clarity in thinking and awareness. Improving your memory and providing clarity of mind.

Clear Quartz is healing and known as the Master Healer, a powerful healing stone for any condition. It stimulates the immune system and is excellent for soothing and healing burns, balancing the emotions, activating the pineal and pituitary glands.

Chakras: All Chakra
Tip for Buying Clear Quartz: When buying clear quartz to improve concentration, look for a crystal that’s clear rather than clouded.
Recommended Essential Oils:
dōTERRA Lavender, Bergamot, Peppermint, and Rosemary. I chose a few essential oils for this week
Lavender

Let’s start with Lavender. This is one of my top ten favorite essential oils. Lavender oil has been used and cherished for centuries for its unmistakable aroma and myriad benefits. In ancient times, the Egyptians and Romans used Lavender for bathing, relaxation, cooking, and as a perfume. Its calming and relaxing qualities, when taken internally, continue to be Lavender’s most notable attributes. Applied topically, Lavender oil is frequently used to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections. Add to bath water to soak away stress or apply to the temples and the back of the neck. Add a few drops of Lavender oil to pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet to relax and prepare for a restful night’s sleep. Due to Lavender’s versatile properties, it is always considered the must-have oil to have on hand . Click here for the full description.

·          ·     Taken internally, Lavender oil reduces anxious feelings and promotes peaceful sleep*

Bergamot

Bergamot essential oil is unique among citrus oils due to its ability to be both uplifting and calming, making it ideal to help with anxious and sad feelings. It is also purifying and cleansing for the skin while having a calming effect.
If you don’t have this essential oil, any citrus essential oil will do. Click here for full description.

Angel Card Reading
This week the Fairy Tarot cards were nudging me, this week’s card reading is from the Fairies. I usually only do one card, but three came popping out this morning. For those of you who don’t know what that means, is the first card is the past, middle card present and the third card is the future.

Four of Autumn
Manage resources wisely. Achieve a balance in how you spend and save money. Help those who are less fortunate. You may not be seeing things as they are. Donating to the less fortunate. What you give comes back to you. If you look at the card you see a fairy of abundant gifts looks into a mirror but sees only lack. Her viewpoint of her own situation is skewed by her fear.
Unity
Do the right thing, for the right reason. Compare traditional versus new approaches to see which works for you. It's important to always stay on a path of integrity in every aspect of life. The Law of attraction rewards those who follow their dreams while remaining honest and true in dealing with others. Align yourself with organizations or people who have high spirtua ideals.  A spiritually minded community. Looking at this card is two fairy students have found a mentor to teach them both old and new ways of thinking. Doing the right thing for the right reason. Remaining true to your principles. Being a spiritual teacher to others and or consulting one for guidance. Respecting your elders or the past. The power of prayer.
Three of Winter
Reach out to others for comfort and love. Ask God, the angels, fairies for clarity of understanding around all issues pertaining to the situation. Open your heart to helpful people. By working through your saddness now, you set the stage.  You will grow stronger from this situation. Sadness that will heal with time. In this card the fairy friends are standing with the Holy Hawthorn tree behind them. Legend says that the tree appeared when Joseph of Arimanthea a desciple of Jesus who helped him off the cross, paced jesus's walking staff into the soil on a hill in Glastonvury. The staff became the Holy Hawthorn tree, which blossoms only on Christmas and Easter day.
Forgive others and yourself. Healing misunderstandings. Growing stronger from challenging situations. Being there for others in need.
 Meditation:
Take an essential oil of choice, drop a few drops in your hand, rub together and inhale, rub the back of your neck. Place the gemstone on your heart chakra if laying down or where comfortable. Repeat the affirmation 3 times. Take 3 deep breaths and relax and enjoy the sound.

Enjoy this week and give yourself a break from all that is going on, be quiet, it is a peaceful time and my intention for this week is calm, motivation and help others less fortunate.

As a family we love sound, aromatherapy, meditation, time together.
Enjoy!
