On May 7, the third and final supermoon. It's a Super Flower Moon, occurring in Scorpio. That means it will bring up some strong feelings. A supermoon is a full moon that is especially big and bright, because it occurs when the moon is at its closest point to the Earth. That proximity also means their effects are even more powerful than a regular full moon

This full moon is a sweet full moon  that will remind us to find gratitude and beauty. Your spiritual and intuition senses may be heightened through this time. Emotions will be intense, as the Moon, which represents our feelings in astrology, is hanging out close to the Earth.
May is a big month, celestially. Early next week, the first of three major retrogrades will kick off. But first, on May 7, the third and final supermoon of the entire year will grace the sky — and it's going to be major.

This supermoon is also called a Flower Moon because it coincides with the blooming of spring flowers. The name sounds pretty — but it's also apt, since this Super Flower Moon occurs in Scorpio, a sign associated with growth and transformation. Scorpio is an evolutionary sign, which makes this a great time to release past hurts and make amends with others.

It may be time to forgive an old friend or you can spend time healing internal wounds. The Super Flower Moon in Scorpio provides the right energy for you to finally let go of the pain.  You will come out of the experience feeling lighter and invigorated.

Bringing old and buried emotional baggage to the surface," says Narayana Montúfar, senior astrologer for Astrology.com and Horoscope.com. "Our feelings will be front and center, and our interactions will show exactly how we feel even if we are not able to express ourselves clearly."

This final supermoon of 2020 teaches us it is that expressing our feelings is important — even if they feel small compared to what is going on in the world. With this lunar event behind us, we can enter the rest of the year feeling lighter, clearer, and ready to start fresh.

It is time to face your feelings, Let Go and Forgive.
Here is a Ritual for the Flower Full Moon. Done between May 7 and May 20th. Enjoy!

Things you will need,
  • Smudging Stick of Choice, Palo Santo, white sage or smudging tool of choice
  • Small Candle
  • Lighter or matches
  • Bowl or plate
  • Cup of Ice
  • Pen and paper
  • Pinch of salt
  • Gemstone - recommended Rose Quartz or Amethyst
  • Essential Oils - Renewing Blend, Copaiba, Frankincense, Rose, or whatever resonates with you.

What you are going to do...

1.  Set your gemstone in front of you. Use your smudging tool of choice. Cleanse your aura and area and reciting the following

"I radiate peace, love, and joy. I cleanse myself with loving energy. I am cleansed and recharged"

2. Take your Essential Oil of choice and place a few drops on your hands, rub together and inhale three times and recite the following.

"I surround this space with light and loving energy. Only love may enter. This space is cleansed."

3. Take a Pen and Paper and write whatever comes to mind. What you want to release, forgive, etc. When you are done fold up the paper and place in the bowl. Recite the following.

"I ask the Spirit of water to help me release and let go of what no longer serves me, what has never served me and all that is not love."

4. Take your cup of ice and pour over your paper in the bowl and recite
" I charge this ice with the power of love, gratitude and healing. As this ice melts, I ask whatever is no longer needed for my highest good to gently and softly melt away. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

5. Now place your candle in the bowl with the ice and light it. Sit in silence for 20-30 breathes. Watching the candle flame and the ice melt away slowly.
Now take your salt and sprinkle it over the ice and recite the following.

" I am lighter and free, I trust myself. I trust all is well. I welcome love and peace. My heart is strong and full. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

6. Once the ice has melted, remove the paper, squeeze out the excess water and mush or tear up the paper. Discard in recycling. Make sure you put out your candle.

7. Put a few drops of essential oil on your gemstone and carry with you or place under your pillow until the next full moon. Use when meditating.

8. Meditate daily for at least 10 minutes. Below is a Tibetan Bowl Meditation for you to enjoy.
